On local T.V. news again this morning...the Mulberry Harbour memorial stone.

The large granite rock on which this memorial plaque is fixed has been a feature of the seating area just in front of the yacht club for many years. It appears that this too, is in danger!
The next three shots indicate how vulnerable it is...

Arun District Council put some shingle geobags around the concrete slab as a short term measure to prevent it sliding into the sea.
Again this morning the road bridge was being reinstated, after it had been washed away overnight.

More stones were expected today to reinforce the bay between groyne three and four which has been so badly affected in the last few days.

...and so it goes on!
