Hope?

A Brent Goose flies in off the sea...

Equally striking!

...silhouetted against the sunrise.

A little later in the morning looking back along the beach

A Black Headed Gull looks on, unconcerned at the plight of the beach dwellers. 

But yesterday we had a visit....

Is this as a result of this...

..planning application !!!
