After a couple of days of high winds and big Spring tides Groyne No 3 has gone the same way as Groyne No 4. It all happened overnight but although the wind has subsided this morning the volume and speed of water leaving the harbour was sufficient to create damage
The next few tides may well tear away more of the structure.
What next? What effect will this have on the beach?
